Your impact

Your day to day will be hands-on and strategic.

• You will architect and develop real-time control firmware in C and C++17 on RTOS for precision motion systems.
• You will build and maintain embedded Linux layers using Yocto, including device drivers and kernel modules.
• You will implement EtherCAT and CANopen communication protocols for controller and host integration.
• You will define and enforce test strategies and lead design and code reviews.

What you will bring

Must have

• Expertise in C and C++17 for real-time, resource-constrained environments.
• Hands-on RTOS experience.
• Embedded Linux development with Yocto.

Nice to have

• Experience with FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or VxWorks.
• Python for automation or Dutch language skills.
• Knowledge of functional safety standards such as IEC 61508 or ISO 13849.
