Role Overview
- Develop, implement, and maintain automation solutions and shared operational tooling to enhance efficiency, reliability, scalability, and consistency across cloud-based environments
- Take ownership of operational workflows including event handling, incident response, case management, problem resolution, and service request delivery, ensuring timely resolution and accountability
- Maintain high standards for system security, performance, availability, monitoring, and capacity planning in cloud-hosted platforms
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential service issues through continuous improvement, strong ownership, and adherence to established processes, while responding effectively to live incidents
- Apply working knowledge of enterprise applications, system architecture, and deployment models to independently troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex technical issues
- Perform effective triage and root cause analysis, collaborating with cross-functional teams and escalating when necessary
- Provide clear, timely, and audience-appropriate communication to stakeholders, including customers and internal teams
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing by creating and maintaining operational guides, procedures, and knowledge articles
- Follow defined operational frameworks, performance metrics, and service commitments to support organizational objectives and customer satisfaction
- Participate in ongoing learning and development, as well as peer collaboration and mentorship initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Working experience with at least one major cloud platform (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP), with the ability to perform standard configurations and operational tasks
- Hands-on experience with container technologies such as Docker and familiarity with orchestration tools
- Strong system administration skills across Linux/Unix and Windows Server environments
- Experience with cloud networking concepts, including secure connectivity solutions such as VPNs and private routing options
- Practical experience working with relational databases such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server
- Scripting or automation experience using two or more tools such as Terraform, PowerShell, Bash, or configuration management frameworks
- Understanding of IT service management practices (e.g., ITIL) and experience working with ticketing or workflow management systems
- Solid grasp of information security fundamentals, including identity management, access control, and data protection techniques
- Professional proficiency in English and Japanese
