Role Overview
We are hiring a UI/UX Designer to lead product experience design initiatives and help elevate overall product value. This role will play a key part in improving user engagement through better learning experiences and building a cohesive design system from scratch across the product.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead UX/UI design initiatives to enhance product value, focusing on engaging and effective learning experiences
- Design and improve features that drive user retention and conversion
- Define, build, and scale a design system to ensure consistency across the product
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineers and planners
- Drive design communication in a bilingual (Japanese/English) environment with a multinational team
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design for B2C mobile applications
- Proven experience leading the definition and adoption of design systems
- Strong ability to translate product vision and user experience concepts into effective design solutions
- Business-level or higher Japanese, and basic English communication skills (or strong motivation to improve)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in motion graphics or animation design
- Experience using Figma Variables and design tokens for scalable design systems
- Background in game apps or educational/learning applications

- Reports directly to the Group Manager under the CTO organization
Work Environment
