Senior GO Engineer

Technical Leadership

• Experience in a lead engineer or equivalent role within a project or team
• Ability to clearly articulate technical issues and requirements, structure them, and propose solutions
• Strong contextual understanding and summarisation skills to facilitate efficient discussions and reviews
• Proficient writing skills for producing well-structured development documents and specifications

Application Development

• Experience in programming with a focus on type safety
• Experience in server-side architecture and API design
• Experience designing and implementing test automation aligned with these areas
• Working knowledge of frontend development

Infrastructure / Cloud Native

• Experience designing and building cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Hands-on experience with managed services on AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience designing cloud-native architectures using containers and/or serverless approaches
• Experience designing and operating systems in line with security best practices

Database

• Experience in schema design and optimisation across relational, NoSQL, and NewSQL databases
• Experience in performance tuning and large-scale data migration planning and execution

Development Environment & Technology Stack

• Experience with GO, basic expereince and a willingness to learn would be considered
• Experience building cloud infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform, CDK, or Pulumi
• Experience using AWS managed services

Domain Expertise

• Experience in system development and operations within the financial sector
• Experience in product development involving blockchain technology
• Expertise in large-scale data design, operation, and analysis (data-focused domain)
• Experience establishing and operating PSIRT / CSIRT, designing SIEM systems, and building logging infrastructure

Management / Organisational Contribution

• Experience in Product Management or engineering leadership
• Experience collaborating across functions such as design, marketing, and product teams
