System Integration Test Engineers are responsible for designing and executing end‑to‑end system integration tests that combine both software and hardware components of complex satellite systems. These tests validate that system configurations and implementations meet defined requirements and specifications across operations, software, and hardware domains.
Because the satellite software is updated frequently and continuously after launch, the design, execution, and automation of integration tests play a critical role in ensuring system reliability and mission success.
Job Description
- Understand the overall architecture of the satellite system and design system‑level integration tests based on the relationship between requirements and corresponding verification items
- Execute designed integration tests, report results to project stakeholders, and manage test outcomes across different versions and system configurations
- Develop, operate, and continuously improve test procedures, test environments, test tools, automation frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines
- Support issue investigation and resolution in collaboration with software engineers, hardware engineers, and other subsystem engineers
- Perform continuous validation of operational scenarios through trial operations using ground‑based test systems that simulate on‑orbit behavior
- Carry out other duties related to system integration testing as required
