Key Responsibilities
- Conduct digital forensic investigations and lead cyber incident response activities
- Investigate security incidents across hybrid environments (on-premise and cloud)
- Perform threat hunting, endpoint analysis, and root cause investigations using EDR tools
- Analyse logs, network traffic, and system data to identify threats and vulnerabilities
- Leverage SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, KQL) for data-driven investigations
- Produce clear reports and communicate findings to both technical and business stakeholders
- Develop automation scripts and detection workflows to improve response efficiency
- Collaborate with global teams across technology, security, risk, and business functions
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in digital forensics and incident response within large enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of cloud and on-prem infrastructure (Azure, AWS, M365, AD)
- Experience with forensic tools (e.g., EnCase, X-Ways) and SIEM platforms
- Understanding of attacker methodologies (MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain)
- Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, or Bash)
- Business-level Japanese and English communication skills
Preferred
- Relevant certifications (e.g., GCFA, GCIH, EnCE)
- Degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or related field
